A Miami, Florida native residing in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Tyrone Smith is a global strategy and people analytics leader that inspires and pushes innovation in the field of Human Capital Management in effort to make a lasting, positive impact. This stems from a solid academic career: a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management and Finance from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, a Global Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Victoria, and a Doctorate in Leadership and Innovation with a research focus in Talent Management and Analytics from St. Thomas University. In his current role as the Head of People Operations and Workforce Analytics, he leads the creation and strategic framework of People Analytics and Planning by enabling Insights that drives from Business Strategy and People Strategy, which includes strategic direction, global process deployment, digital technology, leadership, management of existing processes, and talent development, as well as strategic oversight of the organization strategy and initiatives to increase organizational effectiveness, people strategy and strategic workforce planning efforts across the enterprise. All in all, he strategically builds high-performing teams and effectively collaborates with business leaders and employees alike to purposefully identify, analyze, and solve complex business problems that help the organization meet short-term and long-term business goals in order to prepare for the future of work.
